Drivers in South Hillsboro will face delays as Washington County starts construction on Blanton Street between Southwest 198th and 209th avenues in early March — work is planned through fall to improve pedestrian, cyclist, and driver safety.

Crews will work weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. with lane closures.

Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Centers will soon receive $4.25 million from the federal government to support more than 17 clinics serving uninsured and underinsured patients, including its reproductive health facility in Hillsboro.
