Good morning, Hillsboro.

Dies Irae, Desirée, a new chamber opera featuring a fictional UFO doomsday cult, debuts next month at downtown Hillsboro’s Vault Theater.

The 75-minute show will run Friday, March 13; Saturday, March 14; and Sunday, March 15 with ticket prices from $30 to $40.

Starting March 30, the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department will require day-use parking permits at 22 state parks at $10 for locals (and $12 for out-of-state visitors) and add a $10 fee at 19 RV dump stations to fund maintenance for trails and restrooms; walking, biking or transit stays free.

Trader Joe's recalled nearly 3.4 million pounds of frozen chicken fried rice products after four customers found glass in the food.

The recall involved items sold in local stores and in Canada, and no injuries were reported.
