- ➤ Pacific University opened a sensory room on Feb. 26 in the Tim & Cathy Tran Library at Forest Grove to offer neurodivergent students quiet space, and it will assess use before opening a similar room at its Hillsboro campus as part of a two-year College Autism Network pilot. Hillsboro News-Times
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Oregon legislators passed a bill that will require insurers to cover cervical cancer diagnostic tests. The law goes into effect on Jan. 1, 2027 even if Governor Tina Kotek does not sign it and could prompt similar changes nationwide. Hillsboro News-Times

- ➤ Metro League girls basketball all-league teams for 2025-26 have been announced, with Southridge senior Sara Mangan honored as Player of the Year, Jesuit sophomore Ceanna Forney named Defensive Player of the Year, and Southridge’s Michael Bergmann recognized as Coach of the Year (highlighting the top performances).
