- ➤ Hillsboro man Kevin Lee pleaded guilty to robbery, burglary, unauthorized use of a vehicle, and theft during a crime spree spanning six locations from Beaverton to Tigard, and he was sentenced to 146 months in prison by Washington County Circuit Court Judge Oscar Garcia on March 12 — he must also pay over $23,000 in restitution to victims. - ➤ The Oregon Humane Society warns that scammers are using its main phone number — 503-285-7722 — to call pet owners and claim their lost pets need urgent treatment paid for with Venmo or Zelle, so owners should hang up and call the society directly. KXL

- ➤ Cloud Nest, a 24-foot-high powder-coated steel geodesic dome with colorful laser-cut panels, will be installed in Shute Park in fall as artist Becky Borlan collects local ideas on native plants and flowers.
