- ➤ On March 11 at 9:23 a.m.—Tigard police responded to an incident near Southwest Durham Road and Southwest 108th Avenue where an 86-year-old pedestrian was seriously injured when a heavy-duty ratchet strap fell from a passing truck, and they are asking the public to help identify a flatbed truck with a white cab and green lettering that did not stop after the incident. - ➤ Sherwood farmer Narendra Varma met with Congresswoman Andrea Salinas this week to warn that federal immigration policies—designed to deport violent immigrants—may leave his farm without enough skilled workers for the summer even if wages increase.
