- ➤ A 22-year-old Washington County man named Jordan Beyer was arrested and indicted on 21 counts for sexual assault, rape, sodomy, and other related charges after multiple women reported assaults starting in February—he was taken into custody on March 25 during a traffic stop and now remains in jail without bail as authorities urge additional victims to come forward. - ➤ A Portland Community College interior design instructor was named the 2025 NKBA/KBIS Educator of the Year after she received the award earlier this month at the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show in Las Vegas—she is known for mentoring her design students and is now working on a new lighting and cabinetry lab at PCC’s Sylvania Campus.
