- ➤ The Oregon Department of Human Services, Child Welfare Division is asking the public to help locate Joshua Makalea—a 17-year-old in foster care who went missing from Monmouth on March 14—as authorities fear he may be in danger and note he has been seen near Dallas, Independence, Monmouth, and Albany while possibly trying to reach Sacramento.
