- ➤ The Reynolds School District plans to cut 158 FTE positions to save about $17.6M amid a nearly $20M budget shortfall for the 2026-2027 school year. District officials will present the proposed budget on April 30 and finalize it by mid-June. KATU

- ➤ Local high school baseball and softball games on Thursday saw Tigard beat Putnam with a score of twelve to six, highlighted by plays from Alix Perez, Andrew Hergert and Michael Harms (Forest Grove, Century and Liberty also recorded wins in softball).
