- ➤ On Saturday morning, April 12, Hillsboro police responded to a shooting at the Fred Meyer parking lot, began life-saving measures on the victim, and later arrested 23-year-old Heriberto Tapia-Naranjo on charges of attempted murder, assault, and unlawful use of a weapon—his red pickup truck was recovered on Sunset Esplanade with a broken window and a flat tire. - ➤ A recent LendingTree study shows that Oregon residents spend nearly $10,000 on groceries per year—making the state the 8th most expensive in the nation—while the national average is about $8,167 per household.
