- ➤ Gov. Tina Kotek ordered districts that cut school days must add them back by the 2027-28 school year and cannot count teacher development as classroom time. The order was presented to the State Board of Education Thursday to ensure students receive full instructional hours. Hillsboro News-Times

- ➤ Eight Oregon Army National Guard soldiers are preparing to deploy to the Middle East after a mobilization ceremony at Camp Withycombe in Happy Valley today. KATU

- ➤ Oregon State baseball begins a series of three games against Cal State Fullerton today at 5:35 p.m. at Goss Stadium in Corvallis. A Tuesday matchup was postponed after freshman Tyler Bellerose was injured in a car accident Monday (team has no update yet). Hillsboro News-Times
