- ➤ The Oregon Senate passed a bill on Monday that will require the governor to appoint a new U.S. senator if a vacancy occurs before an election—ensuring Oregon has a representative until a special election is held between 80 and 150 days after the seat is vacated. - ➤ Today, Washington County Commissioners met with Clean Water Services CEO Diane Taniguchi-Dennis and her legal team to review plans that will cut spending on expensive travel and meals after media reports raised concerns. In this facility, an estimated 2,000 infants and children will be evaluated annually to determine eligibility for intervention and special education services and our eleven classrooms will host early learning offerings with special attention to the needs of children with disabilities.
