- ➤ On May 5, 2025, Hillsboro’s Bag & Baggage Productions announced that the Native Theater Project gave cash prizes to five playwrights to develop plays about violence against Indigenous people—winners include Cherokee DeLanna Studi and Two-Spirit Honokee Dunn. The project will add workshops and staged readings next year to help share these plays and bring more attention to the crisis affecting Indigenous communities—using art to tell real stories.
