EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Banks High School senior Connor Mahoney plays 20 instruments and volunteered to teach band class last fall when the school needed help; his work reinforced his plan to attend the University of Oregon and become a music teacher after graduation (honored by the Forest Grove Rotary for community service). - ➤ Liberty High School senior Matthew Hui won the Beaverton-Hillsboro STEM Expo in March for his project that ranks Among Us players and serves on the district's curriculum advisory board while leading his National Honor Society, and he plans to study computer science at UO on a full ride scholarship.
