- ➤ Forest Grove-based nonprofit Adelante Mujeres expanded its free immigration legal services today by adding attorney Nanci Rios to help local families amid ongoing federal policy changes. - ➤ RAJ Sports announced Hoffman Construction will build a dual-purpose performance center in Hillsboro that will host the Portland Thorns and the new WNBA team. The facility, designed by Populous and set to open in 2026, will offer training amenities, wellness services, and community networking + digital storytelling programs. KXL
- ➤ Banks High School's girls golf team won last week’s regionals—defeating Scappoose by 12 shots—to earn a spot in this week’s state championships at Trysting Tree Golf Course in Corvallis. Coach Dave Crowell said the win came after the team worked hard all season and they are ready to compete at state. Hillsboro News-Times
- ➤ The Hillsboro Hops split their six-game series with Tri-City after winning on Saturday and Sunday following three one-run losses in the first four games, keeping their top spot in the Northwest League. The team finished the series with a 23-16 record (a 3-game lead over Spokane) and infielder Jansel Luis shined (batting .476 with a home run and eight RBI) in key roles. Hillsboro News-Times
