- ➤ Reed’s Crossing pools will reopen in June for community swim lessons & open swim after Alliance United entered an agreement with Providence Health & Services at 7305 S.E. - ➤ The inaugural Westside Comic Con will be held May 23-24 at the Wingspan Event & Conference Center at 801 N.E. 34th Ave, featuring over 60 local creators, cosplay contests & a gaming area for tabletop enthusiasts. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Washington County Commissioner Pam Treece pulled ahead in the race for county chair with early returns from Tuesday, May 19 showing her with 37.7 percent of the vote compared with 33.9 percent for Nafisa Fai and 27.9 percent for Jenny Kamprath. - ➤ Tualatin High School girls flag football team clinched the state title on Saturday, May 16 at Liberty High School in Hillsboro by beating South Salem 32-26 in overtime.
