- ➤ Oregon Attorney General Dan Rayfield said the state and 27 others sued 23andMe to stop the sale of sensitive genetic data without proper consent, and the company filed for Chapter 11 in late March as it seeks a new buyer—this action could impact about 15 million customers and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court will hear arguments on June 17.
