The Washington County Fair will return to Hillsboro at Westside Commons from July 18 to 27 with free admission and daily events from 5 p.m. to midnight.

Attendees will enjoy concerts, movie nights, rides, and food vendors (offering churros, corn dogs, and more) with free parking Monday through Thursday and a $10 cash fee on weekends.

Hillsboro’s Walters Cultural Arts Center opened Gathering today with artworks by Alexander Kriegel, Anya Doll, and Meg Denton that explore themes of love, loss and identity.

Community members can join a free reception on Tuesday, July 1 from 5 to 8 p.m. at 527 E. Main St.—the gallery is open Tuesday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
