Vikram Javali, a senior at Liberty High School in Hillsboro, earned an OnPoint/OSAA 2025 Scholar Program scholarship for his 4.21 GPA and community service (including work on the Youth Advisory Council and helping seniors with technology) and will be the first in his family to attend college.

Hillsboro native Brad Neffendorf was named the 2024 Skip Bertman National Coach of the Year after leading LSU Shreveport to a record perfect season of 59 to 0 that included winning the NAIA World Series and a conference title.

His achievement brings national attention to his hometown legacy—marking a historic moment in college baseball.
