- ➤ Yang Hansen, a 7-foot-1 Chinese center, was introduced on Friday as the 16th pick in the NBA draft by the Trail Blazers after playing two seasons with the Qingdao Eagles where he averaged 16.6 points and 10.5 rebounds. - ➤ Jesuit won the league baseball title while Sunset won the state championship with a 6-5 victory over Grant early in June. Jesuit players earned most all-league honors, including standout Kainoa Santiago, while Sunset's Kruz Schoolcraft was named Pitcher of the Year & is set to play for Tennessee this fall.
