Firefighters battled a two-alarm field fire south of Forest Grove near SW Springhill and Fern Hill roads after it was reported at 3 p.m. today and had the flames under control by 4 p.m. with no evacuation warnings (the cause is unknown).

The historic Hillsboro Pharmacy and Fountain reopened Wednesday, July 8 on Main Street after a four-year closure caused by a fire and now blends classic decor with updated menu items including pho and milkshakes while planning a grand opening ceremony at 4 p.m. on July 31.
