CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Two new murals will brighten downtown Hillsboro this fall as part of the city’s expanded public art program—one at 244 E. Main painted by artist Dylan Mead for a local dog bakery owner will show scenes from everyday life, and a larger mural on the east side of The Downtown Hive, designed by muralist McKenzie Scott, will include community outlines. The projects were funded through a selective process that awarded more than $30,000 to support public art in the area. Hillsboro News-Times
