On Friday, authorities recovered a body part from the Tualatin River near Hillsboro—Washington County Sheriff’s Office said more details are expected in the coming days.

Two new murals will brighten downtown Hillsboro this fall as part of the city’s expanded public art program—one at 244 E.

Main painted by artist Dylan Mead for a local dog bakery owner will show scenes from everyday life, and a larger mural on the east side of The Downtown Hive, designed by muralist McKenzie Scott, will include community outlines. The projects were funded through a selective process that awarded more than $30,000 to support public art in the area.

An Oregon company is recalling NuNatural’s Organic Pure Stevia and Pure Monk Fruit Sweetener after 156 bottles were found with swapped labels sold nationwide.

The recall was issued July 14—FDA upgraded it to a Class II recall on August 1, meaning only temporary or medically reversible health risks are expected.
