A study by the Archbridge Institute found that Texas, Tennessee, and Oregon have the toughest licensing rules for new workers—Oregon scored a perfect 10 in both tests and tasks required.
The study compared these strict requirements with those in states that have fewer barriers for entry.
🏈 Sports
On Saturday, some 19,000 runners completed the Hood to Coast relay from Mount Hood to Seaside while facing record 100° heat in the Portland metro area.
Teams had limited aid on long sunny stretches and a few runners needed to be pulled from the race due to heat illness — participants look forward to returning next year.
