- ➤ Shute Park Aquatic & Recreation Center reopened on Sept. 15 after annual maintenance, and most areas are open for swimming—although the spa pool remains closed for a complete rebuild due to a serious structural leak. - ➤ TriMet has installed blue-light security phone kiosks on MAX platforms to quickly connect riders to dispatchers and discourage crime—officials say 30 more kiosks will be added on the Yellow, Green and Orange lines in the coming weeks with 20 additional phones scheduled by June. KXL
