- ➤ The Oregon Department of Forestry declared fire season over — lifting fire restrictions across all its districts. The agency said the decision follows a season of fewer large fires thanks to a strong early response by firefighters. KATU

- ➤ The Oregon Department of Human Services mailed SNAP notices this week to over 313,000 Oregonians—informing them that benefit changes from the Big Beautiful Bill will cut support for some groups.
