- ➤ Brown University researchers find that a landmark 2017 law limiting hospital billing for state employee care (and public educators) has saved about $50 million a year and modestly raised patient satisfaction, based on data from 22 hospitals collected from 2014 to 2023. Hillsboro News-Times
