About this event
Pastrami on rye, dill pickles, matzah ball soup — dreams of Jewish delis dance in our heads. Here is a documentary capturing the iconic New York delis, Ziggy Gruber’s famous one in Houston, Texas, and all the famous patrons (Larry King and Jerry Stiller) who kvell over their food. Think whitefish salad and brisket, and drool over food nostalgia. An official selection of the New York Jewish Film Festival. Tell us about your favorite deli food!
Note: Movie Mavens is meeting one week early due to the Thanksgiving holiday
EJC Movie Mavens will meet every fourth Wednesday at 1:00 pm at EJC. Free. No RSVP required. Snacks & good times guaranteed.
Listed by CitySpark: Portland, OR, gathered by the Hillsboro events calendar.
